Essential Experience and Skills

  • Experience: 1-3 years in software solutions sales, preferably within a technology company. Experience with open-source technologies and services or in a consulting role is a plus.
  • Education: MBA preferred; Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Knowledge & Passion for Technology: Strong understanding and enthusiasm for technology and its transformative impact on businesses.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, excellent collaborator, quick learner, accountable, and a compelling storyteller.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Targets: Achieve sales targets by selling open-source services and solutions, focusing on revenue and gross margin.
  • Pipeline Development: Develop and expand the sales pipeline by farming existing accounts and hunting for new enterprise opportunities.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strategic relationships at various levels within client organizations.
  • Articulate Value: Present and articulate the transformative power of open-source technologies to decision-makers.
  • Present Solutions: Showcase Ashnik’s suite of solutions, including Observability, Real-Time Data Pipeline, Application Delivery Platform, and Database Platforms.
  • Collaboration: Engage with Solution Architects at client sites to demonstrate the value of technologies such as Elastic, Kafka, Nginx, and Postgres.
